The park was full of easter eggs, fairies, pink flamingoes
and butterflies. :-)
There was also live music and a fighting display by the Anachronistic group. The fairy harpist let my musical son play a celtic tune on his harp. He was so impressed he gave my son his biz card and asked him to come by for a jam session. I won't go into the chaos my boy caused later in the day that saw us in the ER, but there is no doubting his musical talent.

Wow - that looks so cool! We don't have anything like that around here. Sorry about the whole ER thing. I know how frustrated you must be with that boy. He doesn't deserve turkey, overcooked or not!
How festive and fun! I love faeries! Seems like a nice day to do the park thing.
Oh, yeah. The day was perfect- sunny, light breeze, blue skies. 2 bubble machines sent bubbles wafting across the park like a see-through curtain, then a swathe of bubbles sat on the lake making the surface look like bubble wrap. Easter bunny wandered around handing out eggs. There were crafts for the kids and food stalls, grass slides-- yeah, great day.
